ZENRG, a boutique consulting firm focusing on the energy industry, is looking for a driven and resourceful junior consultant to join its growing team. The consultant will work alongside members of the team to support high-profile clients in the energy and utilities sector. The consultant will also play a key role in the growth of ZENRG, from developing internal processes, producing intellectual property, and supporting business development activities.

About the opportunity

Deliver project work under guidance from senior team members (project leader and partner). This includes project planning, research, data gathering and analysis, hypothesis formulation and testing, recommendation development and preparation of client deliverables such as Word documents, Excel sheets and PowerPoint presentations. Exposure and collaboration with clients (executive and expert level) will occur on a daily basis. Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, develop tailor-made solutions, and work closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. Contribute to the commercial activity of the firm for example via supporting business proposals and other client material development, as well as assisting in determining client needs by gathering and synthesizing data. Who are we looking for?

Required professional background and skills:

  • Proficiency in English and in Hungarian

  • Finished Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering or Technical Management with relevant specialization

  • Adequate knowledge of various Windows-based office applications (mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical, communication and presentation skills.

  • Good client management skills and proactive personality

  • Availability to work minimum 30 hours per week
